World Lacrosse, the international governing body for lacrosse, has released a statement in response to LA28’s proposal. The Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Committee (LA28) recently proposed that lacrosse should be included as a sport in the 2028 Olympic Games. 🥍
“We are absolutely thrilled and honored by LA28’s decision to propose lacrosse for inclusion in the 2028 Olympic Games,” said World Lacrosse officials. “We are one huge step closer to a monumental milestone for our sport and international community.”
